Copyright Protection:

What is a copyright?
Copyright is a protection that covers published and unpublished literary, scientific, and artistic works, provided such works are fixed in a tangiable or material form.  Copyright laws grant the creator the exclusive right to reproduce, distribute, perform, and display the works publicly.  Exclusive means only the creator of such work, not anyone who has access to it.

Copyright protection expires fifty years after the death of this originator of the work.

Basically what all this means is that we are not allowed, by law, to copy or reproduce any image without the permission of the creator of the work.  If a photo has a copyright symbol printed on the back, the image must be scanned and sent to us.  With your permission we will scan the image for you.
